That's nothin'! Now if you would've punctured the gas tank  .....that would have been somethin'.

I just want to re-iterate, when your done for the day and put the tractor up.....you go into the house and express to the wife, what a work out you had today and then wipe the sweat from your brow ;) (and don't smile).

It's time I admit to todays boo boo. My tractor had the snowblower on the rear and I had been using it. Thinking I was an old pro I grabbed the 3ph position control to lift up the blower. I lifted it alright as I heard a crunch . I had just raised it so high I just put the handle for the chute rotator right through the center of the Slow Moving Vehicle sign...........kkkeeeeeeeeRunch!

Shoot, at least you got some hours on it before your first mishap. When I got my new CK20 home, I whacked a gate post with the FEL right after backing it off the trailer. (oops)

Thanks for making me feel better.

Actually, when I get my backhoe on and the blower off for the Summer. I'm gonna have to keep my right arm in a sling for the season. The order of the day will be to keep my hands off the three point control and see to it the rear hydraulic control is to the "A' position. Too bad there is not a hasp for a padlock on those controls once they shift to the "keepa you hans offa" position for the Summer.

I have one more question I hope it's not a stoopid one . My CK has no side PTO nor does it have a side pto control. All the specs for the CK20 llist a side pto. Is the side pto an option or am i missing it (duh!) or gulp, did Kioti forget something? All I can say is i'm nnot seeing one on this tractor and I know what a pto shaft looks like.

rimshot... sounds like it is time for you to add to this thread:

Sounds like you are 'working' hard with your new toy, enjoy and be safe.

Me, I was clearing snow from my neighbors driveway last weekend with my rear blade. Blade is 7' wide, tractor 5' wide, caught their BBQ grill with blade, made a horrible crunching noise. Luckily it was their old grill, luckily I missed the corner of their garage, by about 6". Guess I need to add to that post as well. :)

I Had the same problem with a 3pt log splitter, but luckily I saw that it would hit the rear remotes before I raised it all the way. So what i did was to get two rubber washers and two metal washers and a bolt and a wing nut, and rigged the bolt through the track that the 3pt lever moves in to make a stopper. I think that there is one on there to adjust how far it goes down, you may be able to take that off and move to the other side, but in my case i wanted two. This has worked great will post a pic if you want.

Rimshot, I had the same trouble with a wheel hay rake on my kioti DK65c accidentally hit the lever..... SMASH ! there goes the rear window..... so after i spent the $600.00 for the new rear window.... i went to the dealer and got two adjustable stops for the 3pt lever one set it where i want and lock one on top of lever and one underneath so it doesnt move.

Don't sweat that too much. When the remote lever is in the A or B position, it disables the "up" function of the 3-point hydraulics so you don't have to worry about ramming your lift arms into the subframe of the backhoe.

Thanks natem and jdeere5205. You both have good ideas. Go ahead and post your picture natem. I know what you mean but a picture is worth a thousand words.

Glad to know the 3ph control gets disabled , hosejockey. BTW, you have a CK20 hosejockey, did it come with a side pto or was it like mine with rear only.

I have never heard of or seen a side PTO and highly doubt there is such a thing. The CK20 has a rear and mid PTO, the rear spins at 540rpms and the mid spins at 2000rpms. They even list a front PTO at engine speed which is most likely just a cover near the front of the engine that will allow access to the crankshaft to put a shaft on, which sounds like a bad idea.

Kioti Specs

Also, when I have my snowblower mounted on the rear 3pt hitch, I put the hydraulic remotes for the backhoe into N for nuetral and I can still lift and drop the 3pt arms attached to the snowblower. Maybe it is setup differently from the dealer but it doesn't matter where the remote switch is (A-N-B), the 3pt still works.
