I have been wavering between the two. I really like the Deere, NH and Case-IH. The NH and Case-IH are the same except for the color. My family bought allot of new Deeres this year(7) between two dealers. Hopefully, I can use that as some leverage for a good deal? I almost bought the 4100 6 years ago when I bought my Cub, but Deere wanted 15% down at the time and Cub wanted 0%. I think the 4110 would be sufficient. I want a hoe, but I am only interested in moving some relatively small rocks and stumps. Do you think it can handle it?

GR, I don't have the hoe so I cannot speak from experience on that piece of your puzzle. I will also say that the 4110 handles all of the digging and stump removal (loader), materials handling, and turf management chores I can come up with. As metioned earlier, you gain added weight, length, wheel size, and HP with the 4115. If there is anything the 4115 can do that the 4110 cannot, I don't know what it would be. As with most CUT comparisons of simlilarly sized machines, the 4115 might be able to do one or two jobs a little faster, but they will both do the same jobs. One thing to consider is that the savings on the 4110 can pay for a big chunk of the cost of your hoe. The hydraulics are the same, so the hoe should run just as fast on the 4110. Yes. I've found the 4110 handles it nicely. Also, the 46 BH is not so large that it's in the way -- I have some tight spaces I need to get into for bush & tree removal and I like not having to remove it to do loader work. I just need to watch the "tail" a bit so I doesn't hit a building or a tree, but a bigger BH on a bigger tractor would be uncomfortable in my situation.

When I was buying (this spring) I dithered about the BH, but I am so glad I bought it. More than half of the work I've done, as it turns out, has been BH work. I find I like a bigger lawn and fewer buckthorns and mullburys.

Sounds great. In that case, I am a little swayed toward the 4110. I just need to unload my Cub Cadet. Know anyone who needs a bigger tractor???

Cliff, the only problem with that kind of progress is the added mowing time down the road /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I was just doing some playing around on JD's website and the 790 w/loader & hoe is over $1k less than the 4110. Obviously, I would lose the hydrostatic, but it's a heavier and more powerful machine. I don't care about folding ROPS. I have had a folding ROPS on my Cub for almost 7 years and haven't put it down once. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
