Though Deere may be an American company, both tractors are made in Japan.
Don't tell the people at the JD plant in Wisconsin. My understanding is ...only the engine is
IIRC and Im sure someone will correct me if im wrong - the bigger tractors are made in the US, but the 2320 (?most of the compacts/sub compacts as well) is made by Yanmar for John Deere to JD specifications..

My John Deere 2520 came from Georgia.
They are build down there. parts come from all over but thats where they are built.
I'm not going to get into a forum fight on this.
to ME a company that is based in Iowa has an american heritage is still the one i'm going to put my money into i'm tired of seeing AG companies go over seas like Case.
This isn't a put down on anyone who buys any other brand this is just me personally.

I wonder what our great american company will be building in it's new plants it's purchased in India and China?
Probably some great green pieces of equipment for other americans to be proud of a name.
I like to look for the quality of a product.
