Re: Jim\'s Pole Barn Project - hopefully

OK, time for another update. I've been able to get all of the soffit up, all of the facia except for the back, and all of the corners, J-channels, and top strips. Here is what the front looks like now. Well, actually it has changed a little bit since the photo, I was able to put more on last night before it got too dark. Man, the heat the last few days has been rough on a desk jockey like me. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Re: Jim\'s Pole Barn Project - hopefully

Unfortunately, Not near as much done on the South wall. Only sticking the little pieces up as we have them left to use them up. So far I think I've made the best use of the siding that I could. Trying to work in the shawdows to try to stay out of the sun and stay cool.

Re: Jim\'s Pole Barn Project - hopefully

You can see on the other side of the "tractor door" that some of the small pieces can be used on that corner. That is going to be some pretty small siding. Wish I would have moved that door a little farther to the front away from the back wall. I guess that is what I get for changing the design on the fly. Should make putting the garage door up pretty interesting.

Re: Jim\'s Pole Barn Project - hopefully

Not much has gotten done to the back except the corners and one lowely piece to make sure the corner and the siding lined up properly. If it cools down some, I'll try to get the facia up.

The wife and my daughter were having fun with the Sharpie the other night when I was working on finishing the soffit.

A close up of my daughter writing everyone's name. This is one of those things when people go back and remodel they wonder what was going on. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I just hope she doesn't try this trick once the siding is on. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif Otherwise I'll be /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif and /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Another shot of the north side. With some other projects waiting to be done in the foreground.

Re: Jim\'s Pole Barn Project - hopefully

Another shot of the northside, but with a close up of the electric box. I think it turned out pretty good. No wiring ran yet though.

BTW guys, I promise you the siding doesn't bow like it appears in the picture. That is an optical illusion.

That is the last one for now, waiting for weekend for the weekend so that I can install some more. Hope to get it finished between Sat, Sun, & Monday.

Jim,
Tear it all down............
You've installed some of the wrap upside down, you're advertising without the proper permissions, you've not included pics of Monica helping like Eddie Walker has of Steph. Man, What am I gonna do with you?
Actually, it's looking good /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
