Re: Jim\'s Pole Barn Project - hopefully

This is what I used for counter-weight when I was lifting the end truss w/ the 2' overhang attached. Got one rear tire up in the air pretty quick on Saturday. Unfortunately with the load I had attached & because people were holding on to it guiding it I had to ease it back down gently and unhook the truss to go get more weight. At that time I only had 4 blocks on the little KK.

Last one, I was bored and just took a shot looking up and just how happy I was that there was something above my head. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Re: Jim\'s Pole Barn Project - hopefully

It sure is nice to have all the truss up ... even nicer when you get the roof decking and felt on ... nice looking barn ...

Re: Jim\'s Pole Barn Project - hopefully

Hadn't updated in awhile. Thought I would post pictures of the slow moving process we are making. Between the rain, time change, the fact it is just 2 of us, and the crooked trusses that have to be pulled before every nail is driven is really making for some slow progress.

This is looking at the south side.
