Does anyone Recognize This loader model?
Just picked it up tonight. Guy said it came on my ym240d.
I had assumed it would be a YFL240, but that doesn稚 appear to be the case.
The only tag I can read on it says ?*ohnson workhorse?
That doesn稚 give me much, but it痴 a start.

That is the Johnson Workhorse loader, built by Arps (now Ameriquip) and marketed by Yanmar as the YFL240.
No parts are available for it. But cylinder and valve seals are pretty much standard.
Thanks for your insight!
I did a ton of web searching last night and only found a couple loafers that looked similar to mine.
Of course, they were old eBay adds and there was no info on the loader itself.
I知 happy to hear it痴 the YFL240.
Now my goal is to find photos of how the subframe is built. Looks like I値l have to build my own since this one is missing.
I値l need to research the control setup as well.
The actual valves for operation was provided in a bucket with a few additional hoses (pictures above) but there is a whole other block attached to the loader currently with only 2 open ports with quick connects on it.
It almost appears the previous owner added provisions for aux hydraulics.
I値l post more photos of that later when I知 back home.
I appreciate the input!
I am sending you a PM, I can scan my owners manual and send the info to you.

Here's a thread over on Muhammad's new welding site that shows someone building a loader. There might be some ideas in it on how to build your substructure.

Here's what one frame would look like. The two plates between the upright tubes connect to the 4 bolt holes you posted pictures of. The rear plates bolted to the rear axles.

I have one of those on my yammy. I could get a few pics if you still need some.

And here's a photo showing the front end of those bars. (I originally posted this to illustrate the 'old man step' that I added.)

First time I noticed this post. This is mine on my 240D. Looks like yours has a way heavier bucket.View attachment 655418
