plastikosmd said:btw i want to put a plow on mine like you have on yours gun..did you go with the stock front a-frame 3point and adapt your own plow or did you make the whole mount yourself? i havent priced the front lift yet...anyone have any ideas of what it costs (no plow..just the front lift) thanks
JD / Frontier has two FEL mounted blades (AL1672E & AL1684E). I haven't been able to get a price from my dealer, but have seen an ad for a JD 990 on Mutton site that says "add a 72" blade for $1,500" and the picture looks exactly like the AL1672E.
I think the other JD front mount blade is MSRP $2,930 including $1,040 for the A-Frame mount.
I have a 60" front mount power angle blade like the picture below, which I believe will clip onto the front weight bracket of a 3320. I've seen an identical mount on the MF GC2300 and if I recall on some of the smaller Kubota's. It's used for the blade / broom / snowblower. I have to experiment, but essentially the plow bracket requires a mounting surface 13 1/4" wide x 5" high and approx. 1/2" thick. If it does not have to be green / yellow you might get lucky and find a used cheap used one. The blade construction is actually quite sturdy.
