Keweenaw snow photos

There is no detailed weather for my town but the nearest that has the data is Peoria, and it looks like the average yearly snowfall is 23 inches or 10 times less than yours.

We've received copious amounts of snow over the past week. Funny what a week of weather can do, but the piles along the streets look like a normal winter now. I'll post more photos ASAP.

Still snowing here guys, and rather hard today. 6th photo is my ford ranger, after it was shoved off and used earlier today.. NOAA says Monday night will be the end of it. Its snowing in all these photos, so I struggle to take good ones. (not that I'm ever any good) :laughing:

I had to run across the bridge* yesterday and took a few photos while out and about. We received over 60" since it started to snow 8 days ago. Its snowing today. The 1st photo is this the hill just down the street from us, I roll for the kids sledding hill. Its in the fall left of the photo, not the street. :confused2: Ya, its hilly here. The last one is moisture blowing in off the lake.

Allow me to add silly details of winter driving while living in a hilly, hilly town. This photo is looking up a street we drive every day. You can't see it, but its quite steep and it has 2 stop signs for traffic descending to keep peoples speed down. The snow on the streets left side, is called "braking snow" because sometime you can't stop while coming down, so you steer into that curb and that snow will check your speed..
