I agree, again, I’ve abused them to the max. I’ve not wore out a gear box or sprocket or chain. I’ve broken some welds and actually broke a pto shaft. I think with the abuse I’ve put it through, their quality is well worth it and not worth purchasing a more expensive unit. I also don’t Just til fields with some rocks. Mine has been used to till brand new yards backfilled with “fill dirt” aka “stones and crap” before grading, I’ve had rebar, angle iron and all sorts of fun heavy objects wound up in it. I’ve had enough wound up that when doing jobs I carry a crow bar and dewalt cordless grinder. I till unbroken broken in touched ground including rough clay etc. for the cost of the implement, the return on investment is unbelievable.
As for back blades, I’ve not used theirs. I have a few heavy duty Servis plows. Not made anymore but they are equivalent but heavier than. Land pride 35 series.
I would not re weld yours unless it really bothers you. It’s not gonna make a difference moving dirt snow etc. just adjust your 3pt and call it a day.
