Comparison Kioti CK3510 vs. Kubota L3901

The DK-40 is a beast of a machine with 2400 lbs of lift, cruise control, rear 3 point lift lever and 1 remote included.

And don't forget about the extendable lower lift arms, which I find to be indispensable.

Yeah the DK 40 lineup are incredible machines for the money if you can find one but they are A size up from what you're looking at. For a lot of people (including myself) the CK size tractor is a perfect fit. But then again for others a CK would be too large, so it just all depends on what you're looking for.

I'm sure the Kioti is a fine machine. I love my L3901. The price the dealer gave on the Kubota seems bad high to me. I bought mine in July with loader and quick 3pt hitch( $1000 extra off for 2 implements)+ a set of wheel spacers for $19,000 tax ,tag ,title out the door delivered so I'd be pushing the dealer for a better deal.

There are two things I would address. The first is price. Knowing I paid 6 grand more for a comparable tractor would never sit well with me. I would discuss the price difference with the Kubota dealer. The second is the dealer. Do you like them? have they been around for a while and are they likely to be around for a while to help you if you run into trouble? If the answer is positive for both dealers but the price is still that different for a tractor that kubota and kioti dealers tend to agree is very evenly matched then I would go back and drive them again. If there is nothing about one that really stands out over the other I would buy the Kioti and keep my 6 grand.

Thanks guys for all the info. I'm definitely going to do some more talking to both dealers. Right now i'm leaning towards the Kioti simply because of the price. Still got a little bit of time before I can pull the trigger so I plan to visit each dealer a few more times to get a good feel for them. Both dealers seem to be well established so that doesn't really concern me as far as future service is concerned. Just wanna get a good machine for the money.

Either will be a good machine, no questions there. It's just a matter of which one is the best for the money.

And shop the dealer. Look around the shop and see whats in there and how clean and orderly it is.

You have been given a lot of great info so I'm just going to add that My father & I were in the same place as you just a little over a year ago. Pretty much the same "To-Do" list as you.
We shopped Branson, Mahindra, New Holland, Massey, Kioti, and Kubota (Including the L3301 & L3901) and we ended up pretty much where you are at now. Price vs Features the Kioti CK35 (Older Tier 3) was the winner hands down.

One item - little nit-picky - but I preferred the low fender mount position of the loader control on the Kioti vs the high loader frame position of the Kubota.

Both are quality built equipment that should serve you well, but as has already been pointed out - what kind of "goodies" can you get with the extra 6 grand?

My CK3510 got delivered yesterday, I love it. I also happen to run my Boss's older generation L3700SU just this week. Awesome no-frills tractor, has the loader mounted controls, fender mounted rear remotes. No suspension seat though, has treadle pedal, etc.

Confident in my decision. Dealership support by CCR Equipment in Essex, VT has been excellent. What I then did with my extra budget was a bucket grapple, tooth bar, and rear remotes.

You got a great dealer there. Thats where I bought my tractor, and have no regrets.
