He told me at least 10 Kiotis!!! Didn't say what models. But when I got the Bobcat pump the parts where the injector lines screw int is different. Don't know if guts are different but they must be because he said he hasn't had to fix a Bobcat pump. I will try to put up a picture of the old pump and new pump when I get home.

Were you able to use your kioti high pressure lines? Meaning the threads on bobcat pump still allowed you to use your old lines? Also thinking about a bobcat pump at this time.

If you do a search on Doowon company profile you will find they have a technical license agreement with Zexel(who is owned by Bosch) which could explain why repair shops including authorized zexel shops cannot cross reference these Doowon pumps to get parts and calibration specs. I believe dlw mentioned on another post that his bobcat pump was also a Doowon pump. Could be that bobcat is holding Doowon to higher specifications than kioti. What a shame that kioti doesnt raise a stink for their customer base.

Ive tried Power Service diesel fuel supplement and cetane boot, Power Service diesel Kleene and cetane boost with slick diesel, Howes Lubricator diesel conditioner and anti gel and Solder Seal/Gunk Fuel sulfur substitute and conditioner. When I talked to my dealer he said he hasn't had one Bobcat come back for a pump.

With all this treatment i wonder why two of yours still broke?

Bobcat has had some of these failures too, but not near the population of tractors out there in this time frame. Bobcat raised a bing stink about it with Daedong. As result, Daedong switched suppliers. Don't know if completely different IP pump supplier or just supplier making the gear for the rack. This happened in early 2008.

They did not change the Kioti supplier at the same time?

Perhaps putting a complaint to the Better Business Bureau would light a spark under Kioti's reputation and customer's service. It worked for this gentelman!

That is exactly what my pump looks like and when i had a local diesel repair shop take mine apart that is exactly what my broken gear looks like. Mine broke on fourth cylinder only. Metal tag on back has Doowon logo with three different numbers and in small letters at bottom says licence Zexel. My repair shop could not get parts or calibration specs. Called an authorized Zexel repair shop and they will not touch it. Said Zexel gave Doowon licence for pump but Zexel does not support it in parts or service.

kioti's cost: Did not help with any cost said would need to go through dealer and after three tries realized dealer was not going to bat for me just kept blaming it on bad fuel.

failure free hrs since repair: just repaired so will have to wait.

My ck25 is in the shop for the 2nd replacement. First was less than 100 hrs., warranteed, 550 hrs. now. 2007 hst. Anyone got an idea of the cost?

I've seen numbers like $1300. Mine is about the same vintage (2006). I'm at about 560 hours. I've been using additive ever since it first happened to keep it lubricated better. Samuel, have you been using additive? Now I'm worried mine is going to fail again

I got a quote yesterday from Wallace for $850 shipped. I don't think its a lubrication issue tho, I've used additive, but not always. I went from feeling lucky that it happened under warranty, to feeling like I own an orphan/lemon that won't have any resale value. Not good.
