Kioti resale

I think there are a couple of other factors you need to consider in resale numbers. First, you are probably right that Kioti resale has increased over the past couple of years...everything in my research to buy says they are doing a lot of things right for less money than the big guys.

However, I bet resale will take a hit now that warranties have gone to four years - when companies add value to existing products without raising prices then it affects resale value - and the prices I'm getting seem to indicate that prices haven't moved much in the past year or two - at least at some dealers... some do tell me to take it or leave it and that's exactly what i'll do...leave it sitting on their lot.

But I can't see any reason, other than the cracked loader issue, from stopping resale prices from rising ... and if Kioti addresses the cracked loader issue in a way that makes everybody "whole" then resale will jump even more.

These kinds of posts hardly ever remain fair, its an opportunity for others to take cheap shots. In reliability issues, go read my post on a " little history of my kioti dealer". My dealer is a very honest and straight shooter , he has tractors from his customers in the 8000 hour mark. I asked him how many major problems hes had , he has sold over 600 tractors without any major issues. These are some of the things that make a tractors resale high.They have also made great strides in parts availability. Kiotis new 4yr warranty is another statement by them in their confidence in their tractors. No tractor brand has been issue free, as long as Kioti adderesses issues like the k130 loader problem, their value will continue to rise..

Not brand specific, but overall compact tractors sales are slowing down. If the market determines there is a glut, then overall resale values will go down as the market for new & used tractors depresses. In that case, there is no question that the desired names will depress, but as with cars they will depress less while other brands will depress more.

I have been offered more for my tractor now than when I bought it over a year ago brand new. So either the resale value has stayed very good or I just bought the tractor at a good price. Either way you look at it, the resale value on my Kioti is very good. I'm pleased with the resale value. Sometimes when you flood the market with to many tractors or automobiles it also has a negative effect on the resale value. No matter what brand of tractor or automobile.

Look at the condition in the pictures, looks pretty darn clean and not representative of a multi thousand hour machine.

Perhaps a 10 year old car but certainly not a ten year old tractor, actually if it were a quality car and had 221 hours no I would not expect problems on a car with that number hours either. IF 221 hours are correct, driving the car at 100mph for 221 hours would only be 22,100 miles, in which case even a car shouldn’t expect problems. Assuming an engine has been run often enough to have kept it from seizing I wouldn’t expect a 30 year old tractor to have problems with that number of hours. I’m not trying to bash or take shots, I’m just looking at tractors, but that’s what the ad says, no point in trying to justify the words of the ad. If the hours are not correct in the ad or on the machine, if I were a Kioti owner I would question that seller about it as it would hurt the reputation if not correct.
