Whatever FEL you decide to get along with the associated tractor, installing a toothbar will make it work like a much larger machine.
I will throw my hat in...
(snip)
Bought the B2650 with the light material bucket (larger bucket), added around 800# of 3-point ballast and 700+# of fluid in the rear tires, cranked the pressure before I played with it, moved literal mountains and many hundreds of thousands of tons of dirt, clay, concrete, asphalt, block, brick and more.... love the thing almost as much as my dog.
Would not recommend a BX to anyone unless they were my enemy and I just wanted to screw with them for my sadistic fun.... or the person lives on a half acre, has no use for a tractor and just wants to buy one to drive around in circles in there little yard.
Can you tell I hate the BX/SCUT? Yep. True hatred.
I thought you didn't have enough power to drive that B2650 up a hill with the mower running??? What changed??

Overall I think you will be better served with a B. I owned one in the past and it was a good machine and a good performer for its size. I currently own a BX and an MX. The BX is a great small machine but not the best at ground engaging but can still do a lot. Have you thought about a BX and just put a small tiller behind it? Could be an option. If you will be mowing your yard and such also, the BX is great. They also dig just fine in my opinion. I have used the small front loader bucket to ditch a シ mile of road and even prefer it over my MX for such work. The small size and great maneuverability comes in very handy. I also use the BX for a lot of jobs where the MX or even the excavator would cause too much ground damage. It is all about using the right machine for the right purpose.
We have had to call in my buddies New Holland C232 to back us up, and we've had weeks were we also had 3 union operators here with 2 track machines when they are running a train of triaxles. We've pulled in a record of 108 triaxles in a week with the union guys on their machines and us with the B2650 all working together. We've taken an outstanding and amazing amount of material in 2 years. Oh, and we passed 400 hours on the B2650 at around the 18 month point. I would guess a little more hours than a typical home owner puts on a machine per year.I think you may have to attend an anger management session!
Are you prone to exaggeration? I live in Pittsburgh too, by the way...
At minimum you claim to have moved over 12,000 full tri axle loads of miscellaneous debris. Somehow I can not fathom this. I was questioned by someone recently when I mentioned I moved 16 tri axle loads of fill in one day with my B2910. I did but it was not far.
Lets see 12,000 divided by 16 would be 781 days of work with out a day off. How long have you owned that tractor...How many hours on it? 781 days at 8 hours per day would say your tractor should have over 6000 hours on it.
Edit: Forgot to mention that I love my BX for what it is...
