billyo my advice is to stay away from JD period. My neighbors are green fans or should I say WERE green fans until they brought their junk to me for repair because they couldn't afford Dealer labor rates and parts. I hear alot of gumbling with members over Kubota parts pricing but wait until you get into a Deere. Enough said. I own an L2600DT forerunner of the new 2800. It's a rich man's poor man's tractor. My neighbors said no more green after they have seen my annual cost with my Kubotas.

Hi billyo and welcome to the forum. I had a L3010GSt and it was a great tractor. I reluctantly parted with it and later acquired a Kioti LK3054. I have been extremely pleased with its performance in comparison the larger L series Kubota. It was an older unit and had been badly abused. I got into the engine over the winter and found that it could stand a rebuild. I thought $$$ bit not so /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif. Parts were so reasonable I totally rebuilt engine, bought manuals, replaced many other parts on the tractor and (in parts alone) spent about $950.00. Try that with a JD or a Kubota. My point is if there is a Kioti dealer in your area they are work checking out. Ask some of the guys in the Kioti forum about there CK30HST TLB. Might just save a buck too.
