Both are very good machines imo. Since none of us are on the note you should pick the one you like the best.
Comparison Kubota MX4800 or John Deere M4044 with loaders Cant decide.

I also have a MX and love it but I know JD makes a lot of great machines so find what works best for you! Good luck

Both seem to be good machines. Be aware that JD currently has a problem with the loader valve on the new 40 series CUT's, something about the bucket not having down pressure. Documented on this forum. Allegedly JD is working on a fix.
Not sure if you have a Massey dealer near you, but might be worth checking out a 2705e/6e. Competing model to the JD and 'Bota you listed, but I believe it offers better loader lift, more 3pt lift, stronger and faster hydraulics, a factory 3rd function for the loader, and also offers a 5yr warranty, and 0% for 60.

TSO also offers a good suggestion, the Massey is also a nice machine. I would have considered them if we had a dealer nearby!

I'd watch the loader on the Deere. As someone else said they've had some problems. I think 2015 was the first year after a very large revamp on Deere. So maybe it's fixed. If you want a bulletproof Deere look at a 4X20 series.
I tried to buy a XR4155 LS. Had dealer issues. There's a thread over in the LS forum that has it all in there. Several here are happy with theirs. It was about 3k cheaper than the Kubota.

Well I bought the MX4800 and will pick up tomorrow. Will give a report when I put it through some work over the next month.
