Thanks S219. I'm looking into the numbers now. Two valves is actually plenty. I don't have a reason for a third one and was just "going big".

Until you do , then what? :confused3: Share I suppose. :yuck:

On my 75hp tractor, I started out with 2, went to 3 and need to add 2 more for a total of 5. On my 32 HP tractor, started with one, went to 3 and now have 4.

You just never know for sure :scratchchin:.

I will say that it would be easy to add a valve later on with the Kubota stacking kit, so that made it easy for me to draw the line at two. If I ever need a 3rd valve it will be an easy job to add it to the stack. Not as easy as adding it up front, but not hard by any means.

TnT alone eats up both of those. I went with 3 & have been happy with that.

Debating between running hose all the way up to the loader from the QD in the back for the hydraulic angle on my new snow plow. May end up just putting in a diverter on the lift circuit though. I'd rather use curl to match left & right, but the cheap regen only valve will screw me there.

I did receive a reply back from Messicks yesterday.
Here's the parts only quote from them for my
2015 L3301/HST for three remotes.
1 standard
1 float
1 detent

L7211-549 - First position lever kit
L7212- 371 - 2nd Position stacking kit
L7213 - 371 - 3rd position stacking kit
L7232 - 4 position float detent valve - 310 X3 - 930

For a total of 2,221 - plus shipping.

I got the reply today from Messiks' today.

Here's the valve quotes.

L7231 - Spring Center Valve - (Not Detented) - $ 175
L7232 - 4 Position Float Detent Section - $310
L7233 - Self Canceling Detent Valve Section - $350

I'm unsure about whether the mounts for the valves and QDs and hoses are included.

Does this look right?

First position lever kit L7211. 549.00
Spring center valve not detent L7231. 175.00
2nd position stacking kit L7212. 371.00
4 position float detent valve. 310.00
3rd position stacking kit L7213 371.00
Self canceling detent valve L7233 350.00

Total now= 2125.00

Hmmm... Maybe I shoulda splurged for a bigger bouquet of rose Valentine's Day yesterday for the Family Financial Officer!

Here's a screenshot of the price list -- looks like it includes hoses/etc.

Some pics of my side link. The cylinder normally costs about $220, but I spotted new old stock on eBay for $100 and jumped on it. The cylinder was packed in the original box using newspaper with 1998/1999 dates and the cylinder was in beautiful shape. Spent another $40 on custom hoses.

I had been planning to bend the clevis end slightly to match up with the factory side link, but the cylinder fits well with plenty of play as-is. I can swing the arms around freely with no issues. Can't say I see the point for the bend in the factory link, but I will keep an eye on the 3-pt whenever I hook up something new just to make sure there is no binding.

Upon further examination, it looks like the factory side link has a bend in it to allow the side link to swing wider without the top ball mount binding on the upper lift arm pin. However, this can't happen on an L3200 with stock R4 tires, since the lower arms can't really spread wider anyhow, so the side link never gets to that angle where the ball would bind.

I suspect the factory side links are common across multiple Kubota tractor products and are setup to work on wider tractors as well as narrow ones. At least for an L2501/3200/3800/3301/3901 with R4s, a straight side link will work just fine. That opens up more options (or takes less fab) when shopping for a hydraulic side link.

Just about halfway through the install of the factory Kubota rear remote kit on my L2501, and I have got to say, this is likely the least thought out, most poorly executed accessory kit that I have ever had the displeasure of installing.

Missing parts, Wrong parts, out of spec parts, the instructions are beyond description terrible...wrong, missing entirely, incomplete...

If weren't for this thread and information contained within it, it would have been an absolute nightmare.

So thanks!

Unreal, so after sourcing the parts that were missing, rigging all the lines, getting everything tight and cleaned up, I find out that there is interference between the 3 point lever and the #1 remote station lever.

It just blows my mind that this stuff can be passed off as factory accessories. What a joke.
