L3901 Rear Wheel Adjustment-No Spacers Needed!!

Thanks for posting them for me teg!!

Needed to move some snow the other day for the first time and noticed a difference with the increased width.
Good morning and excuse me for butting in, I recently purchased a L3301 with AG R1 tires, and I am interested in the positive effects you achieved after changing the rear tires on your tractor for the wider stance. I will be using my tractor for plowing snow, grading my gravel driveway, and hauling firewood to the house.

Congratulations on your new tractor! Let's see some pics!

So far I have used it for plowing as well as snow blowing and have experienced a significant increase in stability as well as a substantial reduction in what we can refer to as the "pucker effect" As an example, when I previously would run over a rock with one of the rear tires on a slight incline, it was very unsettling due to the tires being set at the narrowest width.
I perform the same functions as you intend and I have noticed the benefit of widening the tires in each of them. The true test will be when I have to brush hog the pastures in Spring/Summer as they are a bit hilly and rocky. My old tractor did fine, but when my new one had the tires set at the narrowest, I was not comfortable at varying points.

I would strongly encourage you to widen them for safety as well as it will probably be more enjoyable to drive overall.

I have only put 4 hours on it, other than just looking at it, I hope I will like it after using it for a while, one thing I like is it is easy to mount and dismount. My ole John Deere M is a bear to mount and dismount and harder to drive. The Kubota, with power steering, HST, 33hp, FEL with a snow blade & 66 bucket. I think I am going to love it :)

L4330 Moved out rear wheels helped, But liquid filling helped more yet, We run a lot of hill sides.

Guys, move those rears out, if you can. Our old L3130, with R-4's, was easy- just reverse the center hub's position. Our L3400 has one piece wheels, so spacers were required. But, the end result, as everyone has stated, is all good. For snow plowing, the wider rear gives more resistance to plow push, better ride, just overall a better sense of stability. Filling rear tires is usually a great idea, as well. Just don't let them put calcium chloride in!
