Just wondering how leaves are looking in the more northern states ? Nothing prettier than pictures of Vermont covered bridges with the green mts. fall colors.Post pics if possible.:drink:
I wonder if the lack of color is because it has been a wet year. This has been a wet year for us and most trees go directly from green/brown then drop. The black gums (or tupelos) are always the first to turn color and drop. They turn red very briefly, then fall. Now the red maples and red oaks are starting to drop. I don't see much color; the leaves seem to be just drying up, turning black/brown and dropping right away.
