One of the problems I have in life is some customers just turn me loose to make their dream come to life sorta kinda. It is fun, usually complicated, and always evolving.
This is an example.
Customer had a six thousand square foot metal building made. I had nothing to do with the original building except to build the pad it was built upon and donating some of the beams.
Customer loves storage. He is an acquirer's acquirer. The space above the main floor, sixty by sixty clear span, drove him crazy, not holding or capable of holding some things.
He was like a puppy with two tails over that space just taking up space. He worried and wondered and of course I was questioned, repeatedly and often about how it could be turned into a loft.
I came across a load of nine pound I beams. And I had a bushel basket of JR beams. Twenty feet was the common measurement one way and six inches the other. Ideas cooked for a bit as the hands were busy doing stuff like the framework for the living quarters in one corner.
