Starting to turn some bolts, so far it looks promising.

Yes, I have a Sandvik/Norse 3081 but since i live on two places I must have two winches.
If i have time tomorrow i'm going to tear apart the winch drum and clutch, i'm going to take some pics and post.

I payed 120$ for it, hopes to have it up and running for 300$ total.

That poor winch has certainly seen some abuse and neglect.

Yes, it has been left in the woods for 10 to 15 years after the axle broke off.
I am very happy over the fact that nothing is stuck og rusted solid.
Not a single bolt has broken and no heating or violence to take it apart.

The winch is a Fransgard V3000 1982, 3000kg pulling capacity.
