That would only work for a very small beer cooler. I run mine off the PTO.:D

ROTF LOL!!:D Let's have a tractor party at IslandTractor's place!:D

I talked to my dealer today. He is having some trouble getting the extra hydraulics I want on my tractor: 3rd function FEL valve, 3rd rear remote, Hydraulic quick-coupler. It sounds like MAYBE January 18th at best. So I have two options. I can either wait until toward the end of the month to get my tractor or I could have him deliver it and put all these goodies on at the 50-hour service. I'm seriously thinking about the latter option!:D

I would suggest that only if the dealer guarantees you it will be the same labor. I know after-the-fact installations of the rear remotes costs more after delivery because they have to take apart stuff they assembled earlier. Does that make sense?

My dealer gave me early delivery without all the options and then picked it up and installed later at no cost to me. He should be willing to do that. remotes are apparently in short supply. I think it took more that tree weeks to get

That is probably true. He told me today that yesterday the Kubota distributor said it would be at least January 18th. Now, today, there's something wrong with the computer inventory tracking system. They said they could give a more definitive date on Monday. But I'm guessing it would probably be closer to the end of the month. It shouldn't be a problem with extra labor cost. He was going to have to do all that (disassembling) with this tractor no matter when it was done. He's really good about guaranteeing prices and provided good support. He's even come out to my farm after hours when I had a problem with my ZD-28 mower and charged nothing. So I feel confident that he would stick to his word and not escalate his prices or labor if the extras were put on in 3 weeks.

Now the question is should I go ahead and take delivery on the tractor now or wait a few weeks to have the extras put on? What would you guys do?

I don't know Glowplug...you may be close to a record for number of posts without owning a tractor. I'd make sure you secure the record before you take delivery.:D

I hereby nominate Glowplug for the TBN equivalent of the Texan "All hat, no cattle" award. And, I hope he remains eligible for the award for only a few more days.

Agree 128 posts without having a tractor. This must the most considered purchase ever. Just think what will happen after delivery..........
