Recently picked up a 2010 Everyting runs good but had a question on the loader, is it normal to have to rev the rpms up in order to lift the bucket up ? It operates as Normal except seems I have to rev it up to get going. It is strong and can lift a good amount of weight just didn’t know if this was A normal thing with the loader ? Coming fro a different brand and different size tractor and that one is very responsive at idle

2100 and it had been recently serviced when I bought it
It doesn't even get to pick up the bucket unless I rev it up but if it is up it will curl, and go down without reving up if it is already raised
Thanks for the reply

Have you checked the small cables running down to the loader valve?

I don't believe so Would it be obvious if someting was wrong ?

I'd think that if revving solves it, that the cables (that only controls the valve) would not be where I'd start looking, but it's very possible that they are stretched limiting the flow.
They might be getting a little sloppy (wobbly joy stick) and iirc they're about $40 each. There's 2 of them.
Depending on the seller, "servicing" could mean only an engine oil change.
There's about $150 in filters and 48?? quarts of juice in the trans/hyd oil change. See if they put any change info on the filters. 500 hours is the change interval.
Do it if you can't verify that it's been done.👍

They’d be stretched or improperly routed. Kubota uses the old “choke cable” technology from the 1950’s. Cheap and easy to repair.

took the cover Off the loader handle and oiled the joystick where it attaches above the cable because it seemed a little tight. After moving it around Back and forth it was smooth again and sure enough it lifts at idle now. Really appreciate everyones help

I really appreciate all the advice
Thank you

It's got hydraulic lines running from one of the rear remotes to the front for a third function I now have to figure out how to disconnect the hoses they aren't like quick disconnects I am used to with skid steers and other tractors so there must be a trick

So far I have replaced one fuel line that was leaking off the fuel pump with a 3/16s hose and I have moved the tires in they were set at the widest setting a little over 8ft wide and they didn't line up with the front tires and I need them to so I can spray after I plant so I moved them in to 81.5 inches that was fun removing each one and changing the hub placement but I'm really liking the tractor Can't wait to pull the planter at more than 2mph that's what I was topping out at with my 55hp

One suggestion I will make to you about the Kubota loader valve:
Take a look where the cables join the valves. You'll see the tiny pins and tiny clips that hold them in place. Do yourself a favor and order a few of them and keep them in the tractor. The little clips get knocked off easily and the pins fall out then no loader.

For $5 bucks you'll have them there and ready to install should they fall off.
