Mine read dead empty this morning, couldn't quite fit a 6 gallon can of diesel into it, and no the gauge reads 1 bar. SMH..

I would be letting the dealer play with this once I didn't need the thing daily. That has to be covered by warranty and why waste your time fixing something once it starts getting complicated . You have to remember too that this is a new model and the mechanics are for the most part almost as in the dark as you are so don't expect one to give you straight advice over the phone. That's how I ended up pulling the plug on my tranny that dumped 6 gallons on the ground a couple years ago. They have to do a lot of their diagnosing hands on with these new models and likely haven't experienced the issue themselves yet. That's what sucks about new models.
It sucks that the fuel cap is where it is with that down and around shape leading to the tank. I don't think you can easily "stick" it to gauge the fuel. That's what we always did with light planes and then you know how much you have. It's too bad they keep lumping these simple things into multifunction displays. They work when they work but you can't just fix the part that is broken and you can bet new parts will be $$$$$$![]()
