Wonder why Deadong wants to keep re badging all of their product?
Seems if they would keep some kind of exclusiveness, the product would yield better profits?

My thoughts exactly....I never understand the re-badge thing.

Hey Wallace what are you doing with all those Mechron crates?

One crate makes an outstanding Man/Lumber lift:

My Dealer has been selling Mechron's like hotcakes. I'm building my house so he let me have a crate to turn into the lift platform. It took about 3 hrs to cut it down, weld it back together & spray some primer on it.

I saw a utv today that was called a bad boy buggy, and it is a re-badged kiot mechron. Had the camo and shields on the half shafts. Salesman was upset when I told him I had just got a kioti for 2 grand less than he was asking.

Bass Pro sells the same machine for around $1500 more than a Kioti.

I now have 14 hrs on my mechron. I did notice when my 2 friends and I had them together, that the decal on the side of the bed is kioti orange on one machine , but on two others there is a more brownish color. It is pretty far off. Could this be different so the green hooded kiotis would look better? Maybe I got the wrong decal on my orange unit. The mechron with the matching decal sure looks better. Otherwise it is awsome .

Well I didn't get skinned:laughing:

The good wife actually liked the surprise B-day gift, gave me a kiss and now brags about having "her" UTV! She told the neighbor "He has his tractor...this is my machine". I do have a nice Foreman and a Jeep, so no worries.

So there you go.. you need to have courage.

Very nice!

I wonder if they'll offer a gas engine in the future.

/ Mechron 2200 #67
As far as a gas, hopefully they do. All indications are they intend to expand the line in the future including a possible 2 seater.

Oh BTW-There are some design features on the 2200 that are very robust: the tractor engine, the tractor rear end, the hydraulic bed Ram. The tech at the tractor shop is a UTV nut and owns a few Rhinos-has for years. He explained how the Kioti build was very tough and had spyder gears in the rear end. The Yamaha UTV's don't; so it limits what you can do before breaking an axle. No worries snapping a tight turn on pavement or dirt with the 2200 though. That is what he said anyways. I have not really compared the various machines toe-to-toe; since I chose the Kioti 2200 because of the brand, utility and dealer support.

Also-the bed holds and can dump 1,100 Lbs. Made of steel all the way around. No plastic here at all! Guessing for now that it could handle a full bed of soil. The dump mechanism is simple and had a float detent feature that eases the bed down automatically at a slow speed. I think that 1100 Lbs is a very good capacity to have. It is wider too than other UTV's. The 2200 has a wide frame and wheelbase. So it is stable. The available Off Road tires I chose are USA made 6-ply rated Tires. Nice touch.

So far it seems about right as far as utility goes. I don't get to drive it much. My wife likes it for her yard work and patrolling the fence line. Shifts just fine. Get up and go is very good and the ride is smooth over fairly uneven ground. Even takes washboard dirt roads OK. The suspension is adjustable and it comes with spanner wrench to tweak the shocks if needed.

has two cup holders, a glove compartment, and a little open cubby in the dash and a 12 volt receptacle on the dash.

I sure liked the new Deere models. For myself, I might want more of a ride like those-faster, meaner & Greener looking. But for the wife to run around the property doing cleanup and landscaping, not worring about top speed (Tops out around 30 MPH) for tipping safety and ruggedness and ease of use-good comfy bench seats-this Mechron is a nice machine.

Sure sounds (and looks) great. I am envious!

I just placed a deposit on a new Mechron. I didn't have a coupon and configured it thusly (thusly?!?...really!); hydraulic bed lift, skid plates, CVC boot protectors, work site tires (I hope that's the right choice), front receiver and the winch adaptor, can't see paying >$600 for the winch.
I didn't get a windshield or the roof. I am in the enviable position of not having to go out in inclimate weather so I think I'm put a screen of some type in the front to protect from tree branches. I want to be able to see so no roof for me.

I am paying $11,300 delivered. That seems to be the going rate.

The one thing that I am concerned about is the 75 miles (one way) to the nearest dealer. I'm pretty handy but I'm not a professional mechanic so I hope this thing will be bullet proof.

It should be delivered shortly after Thanksgiving.

Wish me luck.

Good luck!

We are realizing the more we use ours the happier we are with it. I'd declare it indispensable now. We can do so much more work using it. Just finished a 225 foot long run of solid 6 Ft cedar fencing. This 2200 hauled everything and made running back and forth to the shop a pleasure.

BTW-we are 4.5 hours from our dealer. No issues to date. great little machine.

FYI Mechron owners: We ordered and installed the bed rail extensions. Boy they sure are heavy duty. Super easy to install too. 15 minute job. These rails add quite a bit of height to the bed sides and across the front of the bed. Helps when hauling bulky items.

Anyways,

Happy new Year

Got a picture by chance?

photo number one has the roof on backwards. We found this when the dealer tried to install the factory full enclosure. I swapped mine around and it travels on the trailer with a lot less wind vibration this way. kind of looks sportier that way though.

Holy cow Dr.Rick. I am going to call the dealer who installed it and bust his chops Ha Ha. It does vibrate quite easily and that bugs me. Is it a big deal to swap it around I probably need to do that!
Thanks,

and look what you may have started!! Check out the Kioti Official Image. Yep-Mine is backwards.

no, it is easy to swap around. My dealer put mine on backwards at first, and did not find the problem until he went and tried to put on the factory enclosure. He has since begun placing them on the other way. it is a lot stiffer in the wind.

Thanks again, We swapped the sunshade around this weekend and boy it made a difference in the stability in the wind. I was sort of bothered by the way it chattered before. Steady as a rock now!

Here is a pic with side rails and roof on correctly.

I've got about 50 hours on my Mechron. The plastic windshield is messed up bad. I may upgrade to a glass on in the future. I wish I had gotten the hydraulic dump. You have to partially unload the box before you can dump a load of gravel. I also use it to pull small stumps and pull stuck vehicles. Also works good as a lot mule for towing trailers around the farm. Also use it to roll the yard with 1180lb roller.DSCF0772.jpg
