I just moved it back the length of the bolt spacing. So now front bolt is in the original rear hole and I drilled a new hole for the rear bolt. Picked up about 6 inches of clearance. I do still need to reinforce the new hole with a steel plate. The underside of my brush cutter had a 1/8" plate welded to where the bolt holes are. I didn't do anything about the unbalanced condition. I had asked Terry if I would be adding any undo stress to the arms by doing this and he said no. Word of caution, make sure pto switch is off and blade is no longer spinning prior to lifting cutter. You could experience very unpleasant results otherwise!

Forgot the 12V outlet under the hood. I added a 12v plug to my trickle charger. Now I just plug it in there each time I get off. I'm still on the original 5 year old battery.

Here's my "mini mod" intended to keep the quick connects clean. When I'm using the mini-hoe, the covers go on the connections left hanging. When the mini-hoe is put away, the covers go back in it's connections to keep them clean while waiting for the next job.

Can anyone guess what they are? I scoured the local dollar store during lunch looking for something that would work. They were a $1 each and fit perfectly. Not only do they keep out dirt, but they cushion the dangling connectors as the machine bounces around. :D

They look like the squeeze bulb on a hydrometer. Good idea.

I took pictures of my newly installed TSC suspension seat and spinner knob. I wanted black, but they didn't have it... so I went with the JD "look". :D (Yes, I know my PT needs some cleaning... 14 hours of use in just over a week of ownership)

The seat sits much higher and is a bit harder to get in and out of, but it does seem to take the edge off of the bumps. My property is mostly clay that hardens like a rock and makes for a very rough ride.

Fourteen hours in one week. You are getting the idea. If you have that much mud have your learned about the PT wiggle? If you get stuck apply power to the wheels gently and steer left and right over and over. It gets you out of most stuck situations. I carry a boat whinch for the rest.

Let us know how you like the seat. This certainly makes a big change in the appearance. Can anybody beat this. We will see.

The yellow matches your Cub Cadet pretty close.
