Neilly,

Thanks for the response... I hope you didn't get the wrong impression about this forum, as we very rarely remove posts or threads. Had you been registered, a couple of those posts may not have been removed, but since you weren't and the tone was interpreted by some as instigating, we removed them. As I already mentioned, we had no way to contact you to request that you refrain from posting in a confrontational way.

Please, register and join the discussions. Welcome to the forum.

neilly - I'm glad to hear you're registering. Thanks for joining - we're looking forward to your contributions.

FWIW, I don't drink 7-11 coffee, but I will suffer through a cup of Starbucks when I'm on the road and have run out of my roasted-it-myself private stock. Of course, I don't have a BX, either... /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

neilly,

"Buy a new battery" sounds like pretty good advise to me. What kind of rig are you running and where is your chunk of property loacted? Add this stuff to your profile when you register and I can check it out there. Welcome the finest board on the net. (IMHOT)

Neilly -

Sounds you like have much to offer this board, and I hope you really do register.

I'm guessing that some of us minsinterpreted your earlier comments simply because we weren't familiar with you, your style and/or your sense of humor. We take pretty good shots at each other here once in a while, but it's a product of long time familiarity. I've stepped on my own tongue more than once, forgetting that sarcasm and intonation don't always come across as intended when reduced to the typed word. They may look silly, but that's exactly what those emoticons are meant to help with. /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif

Once you're registered, just pull up a chair, sit around the cracker barrel with the rest of us and let us know what's on your mind. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Never saw your posts, but if Muhammad felt they should be removed, I trust his judgement.

As to being PC on this board, I am not PC (ask the other guys) and have never had any posts removed so my guess is that your's were removed for other reasons. We've had some knock down name callin' before and we all made nice and got over it.

If you want to join in the discussions, fine, but take the chip off your shoulder first.

<font color=blue>My ol' tractor was named 'Grumpy'</font color=blue>

With a fine name like that, I'm sure she was a hard workin' girl, not some sissy-pants foo-foo tractor.

Grumpy

P.S. Wouldn't we make a fine pair, Scruffy and Grumpy, what you see is what you get.

You'd get a scrumpy - just imagine what that might look like. /w3tcompact/icons/blush.gif

Grumpy, I drug him outta the brush (drove actually), but had to cut down some 1.5" to 2" sapplings out from between the loader frame and engine before I could. Put some air in the tires, deisel in the tank, replace a hydraulic line, pulled and charged the battery, and he fired right up! /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif Hadn't been run in a couple of years or more. Only 782 hours on it when it got it for $1100. Little wash'n'wax, and he looked good, but worked harder!! /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif Dang fool idiot came along and offered me double of what I had into the tractor and car trailer, /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif and being not of sound mind, I sold him. /w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif

For those of you who missed it way back when, the attached is a photo of the "original" Grumpy. Don't know who the scruffy feller in the seat is. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif
