MTL Post and Tree puller

I'm guessing then it must have started from a piece that may have been on the backhoe because I didn't see any runners to the new area of growth from the older area. Once I clear more of the area, maybe I can figure out what happened. But sometimes seems like I subdue it in one area and it then pops up somewhere else.

Kudzu doesn't go to seed... If it did we would all see it a lot more than we are use to.
I have plenty of Kudzu, I am in maintenance phase at this point. Trying to keep it from overwhelming a couple areas. Sprayed it the other day, hoping to see some dieback soon.

Well the tree puller works!! This decent sized Mimosa came out pretty easily, even as dry as our ground is. Need to get the hang of lining the trunk up with the jaw opening, but that will come. I am thinking about making a mark at the centerline of the jaws to help with that.

It wouldn't be too hard or expensive to weld on a push bar to the top of the tree puller frame. That would help keep the trees from landing on the tractor hood or your head.

I thought about that. I have the steel, so it would be free. And I need an excuse to use my new to me tombstone welder. Just need to get a plug for it wired in the shop. I think once I get the hang of things as long as you are mostly pushing rather than pulling the tree flops away from the tractor and operator.

She hasn't let me down yet. 300 hours and zero complaints!
According to some, all of us with Korean tractors are just moments away from utter ruin. How dare you not pay more! Cretin!! :)

I am a little sad the Branson name is no longer. I do think it has diminished the resale value of the tractor, I guess I will just have to keep it the rest of my life. But I do worry about parts availability in the future.

I am optimistic that TYM sees what they have with the 15 series and will keep it rolling.
