Very Nice Unit, Like its Home a lot also, I thinking about something about that size also, to keep my B3200 in. Have lots of fun, and I hope it cools off soon. I am currentley working in up state New York, and its very nice, but I get to go home to Louisiana at the end of July, and I know the heat is going to get to me.

I used the outside hooks on my loader quite a bit, but normally the load was pulling the chain tight towards the center of the loader. For moving large rocks I would get the bucket lip under the rock, and loop a chain from one outside hook, around the rock, and to the other outside hook, and then use the curl to lift the rock, and tighten the chain before lifting it. Now, I often use my pallet forks instead since they are so much nicer for loads like that, and I can get the load closer to the pivot pins.

ChickinNH... that picture of yours, is that the quick attach coupler setup?

Oh and Sackperson... that's a great looking tractor and a nice looking setup you got there!

Yes, that is the Kubota QA that sells as an option on the B3200, etc. I found that the loader was the same dimensions as mine so I bought the QA, and a set of Kubota forks. The lower pins still take a little tapping, but it sure beats taking the plain pins off. I had both the forks, and bucket on a couple of times today, and I sure like being able to do that! Here it is with the forks installed, and being used.

ChuckinNH, What did you mean (the pins took a little tapping?} Did you mean the pins needed a taping with a hammer, or you had to tap out the pin holes to make the pins fit. I am very insterested in a setup like yours. Thanks.

When you install the QA there are two pins that remain in the implement in the top two holes, and two pins with handles that you pull out to remove the implement. The distance between the top holes, and bottom holes on my QA were just enough different that I can't quite install those bottom pins by hand, and need the assistance of a hammer usually on at least one pin, and sometimes both bottom pins. I need to clean those holes up with an expansion reamer, or perhaps just a wooden dowel with some emery cloth around it. Both my forks, and bucket fit the same way so I'm sure the interferrence is in the QA itself. It is close, and if the planets are in alignment only one pin requires slight tappiing. My dealer probably has a 1" expansion reamer that would fix that right up, and it is on the list of things I want him to look at the next time he has the tractor, or is here servicing it. Some have reported that their's fit just fine with no assistance needed, and some have to tap a pin like I do. On the top of the QA there are two hooks, much like the JD set up that you can see in my pictures, and it helps put the planets in proper alignment, of course if you make sure those are clean before you try installing the other implement.
