My new Kioti CK 2510 HST 2014

Never had starting problems just fuel gelling at -20. But 3 speed HST would have made me go check one out.

Any difference in cold weather starting ease between the CK20 and your new CK2510?

I think Jeff was asking on my behalf. I'm in North Jersey on the NY border. My friend's Kubota L30 lives in an open shed and he doesn't seem to have any trouble starting.

Larno and Jeff, thanks for the feedback. He quoted me $20,500 for the CK2510 TLB with a 12" bucket delivered to my door (tax additional) which is 15 miles from the dealership. This seems to be MSRP less the current rebate. Is that reasonable? He has both in stock and moves a lot of equipment.

Looking at Kubota B2320 tomorrow but i think it will be more $$ or less capable.

Why not "counter" asking for two 5/16" bucket chain grab hooks to be installed and first service, including transportation, to be included in prices offered? Any other "small" options you are interested in? Horn? Cruise control? Have you specified tires? Industrial tires, R4s, usually ordered with an FEL, are more money than R1 aggressively ribbed ag tires.

Net pricing varies a lot by region and season. Prices are usually lowest when snow is on the ground. Usually highest when nice warm weather arrives in the Spring.

I was thinking of doing the hooks on the bucket myself. It's speced with Ag tires.
I'd like a thumb on the BH; not a hydrulic unit. Fixed/manually adjustable would be fine.

Those are good thoughts.

I bought the CK2510 TLB and so far am happy with it. The manuals are crap. Poor English and don't address many topics I'd like to see. Any hints Larno, I'd appreciate. I've been running 2000rpm when using the backhoe, but some people are saying go just above idle. For driving and FEL operation I'm revving at about 25oo rpm.

If anyone is interested see my more recent post. I like the machine. Now I'm gonna find out how much I like Kioti USA.

The 2510 specs out better with 11.3 GPM vs 7.66...

Kioti makes it hard to find the true hyd system specs. You need to have a service manual to
find the flow and pressure available for implements. Brochures show a "total" flow, which includes
the flow used for power steering. So the 11.3 number is surely a combined total flow. To
compare, my CK30 has 8.3GPM/2560psi hydraulics, but brochures list 12.3GPM.

I do not recall the specs for the CK20 I bought new in 2006, but I think it was somewhere around
2000psi and 6-7GPM available for implements. I would like to know what the true #s are for
both units. Anyone with a service manual for both CK20 and 2510 to check?

I believe the 20 hst is 2200 psi and 7.7 gpm, at least that is how I configured my 3pt log splitter.
