LOL...........now the Big RED Beast can have sleep overs. Before, they would have to sleep outside.
That is my led lighted Christmas cross. I decided to leave it up all year because it is a pain to remove. But it is a good reminder what it is all about every day.

Boone,
Here are some early cross installation photos. I left the cross up after the tin and trim was installed.11-29-08 Loader Bucket Cross Installation.jpg12-5-07 Installing the lighted cross resized.jpg

I remember that from being a TBN member, just like not too long ago you were a jet engine mechanic, hat smasher, Model, businesswoman, cow girl, renaissance maiden , an the first American Mahindra Tractor Princess Award recipient . Up till then they had all been women from India . I still remember the Mahindra adds .

Thanks for the trip down memory lane. I wish I had a copy of that video Mahindra made of me and the Big RED Beast. Which reminds me....I will retire from Southwest Airlines. My last day is September 15th. 3500 employees are taking the best buyout package in SWA history and retiring with me.

A lot of friends work for Southwest here in the Oakland area...

Everytime I looked up another Southwest plane coming or going... it's been strange having almost no air traffic the last few months... down 80% or more... Sad.

When I enclosed the shed on the barn, I went ahead and bought a 10 foot door rail, 10 foot of flat to corragated tin, and a white door track cover. After the hot summer we are having. I attacked removing tin and installing the rail. All in four hours.View attachment 665081View attachment 665080View attachment 665079

"After the hot summer"? Heck, over here in northern Mississippi we've only had about a dozen days above 95.
Or did you mean your hot summer is over?

And congratulations on your retirement. I'm sure you'll do great among the vast army of us "unemployed". :)

Did some searching, no video, but found a thread about it here: bindian, on the Mahindra homepage? | Tractorbynet Beta

Last month we had 13 days that were 95 and over with 3 days being 100 degrees or over. July is always the "cooler" month. The hot months here are August and September. So....No, summer isn't over.
here.

I'm not unemployed by a long shot. Starting up my sawmill business with my TLB and Excavtor ready for digging or moving logs.

Congratulations and good luck with retirement.

Thanks Xfaxman! I did a search for Mahindra tractor and Brandi, Booger, and the Big RED Beast and got this link..............
Brandi, Booger & the Big Red Beast: August 2??7
Seems Thursday, August 9, 2007 blog was my first post. Looks like the archive starts at the bottom and the earliest and goes more recent as you come up the months. Funny how your plans and dreams are sent off into unknown directions. No horses here! But plenty of logs and ducks! At least now I can go back and reread them. But gotta find that video. Might have to call Mahindra marketing down in Htown.

Curious about Booger, Red Wolf?

Booger was my tractor dog for 14 years. He was always laying in fresh moved dirt, usually in the way. He is the kind of dog that wanted outside when 17 degrees and raining. He didn't like coming inside at all. Never slept in the hay in the back of the barn either, except when he needed doctoring. Somewhere on TBN, I posted a photo collage of him over the years.

We had to put him down when his organs were shutting down and the vet didn't have a clue. We suspect antifreeze. When I buried him, I had the Aggie War Hymn and the Noble Men of Kyle blarring from my truck's CD. I can see his grave from my kitchen window. Right under a small Cedar tree I put Christmas lights on each year. His only known offspring died last year. One unconfirmed offspring, that looks just like him (lop ear and all) still is alive up the street. Dang it, my eyes are leaking now.

Thanks, sure wished they lived longer. Here is our Red Wolf / German Shepard, Kobe. He was born in March of 2012. Got him when he was 7 months old:
