Great treasure hunting Chuck. Both of those "look" like they have possibilities. Ineresting that they both come from Russian programmers. I downloaded both of them tonight, and will give them a spin to see if they can do the trick. Thanks!

Many thanks for those last two links. The Grafula thing looked like it "might" do the trick, but the semi-english/russian interface was a bit obtuse; even for me. /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif

The graph digitizer looks a bit more sophisticated though. It's only $50, so I can justify that for this kind of thing. I will still have to manipulate the scans a bit. It gets confused if the lines and such are too close to each other in terms of color. So, after I scan the graph, I have to "suck out the ambiguities", by taking all the shades of color out of the graph. That's not too easy on some of the plots, as they have been laying in this guy's desk for 20+ years. That makes some of the lines hard to read; even by eye. I have experimented a bit with it, and it is getting easier as I figure out what the heck the darn thing is doing...
