With the correct tracks on the dozer, wet ground is no problem. I have 2 ft wide mudder tracks on my D3. I Have 17 acres of wetlands that I work on quite often with no problem. Ken Sweet

glad to see someone else on here from Huntsville. there is a guy on craigslist with a mulcher setup. you could check him out. if i was having some land clearled i would go with a mulcher myself.

I agree with the right tracks dozers can do allot without making such a mess, I have some of them too but its not very easy for a wide pad D3 or D4 for that matter to push over 16-20" trees either. Not without spinning and making a mess is my point. Excavator walk up, reach up, push over, pick up, shake, stir and serve, repeat. If its not too wet a mulcher will be fine, depending if the customer wants the stump removed or just ground to or just below grade. To each they're own. All depends on the vegetation, in the pic there looks to be a few decent sized trees.
