Need help idintifying motor mounts for an 8.3L Case built Cummins.

I'll try to get a hold of some 1/2 plate tonight and look into going the side mount route. I sure wanted to just buy a mount and bolt it on. The older I get.....the more time is of value...and I'm not that old. LOL

Showed your picture of the front timing cover to a guy that has worked up fitting Cummins engines for over 25 years and it had him scratching his head. Said he would see what he could find. We both thought it looked similar to a marine application engine. Stay tuned.

This should be the dimensions for the holes in the front of the block. Sorry I can't supply more data than this, but I hope it will help. Good luck!

This looks like it's going to be interesting! If the bolt holes on the mount that is close to fitting line up I would just grind away the cast iron until it fits. This is all within reason of course but by your pictures it wouldn't take much grinding and the bracket would fit.

The lower set of holes don't line up. The top set does.

I'm assuming the "23mm" measurement in the drawings is supposed to be 11.5mm? Something is not correct there.

I recreated the sketch in Solidworks and plotted it 1:1. I'll cut it out tonight and see if it fits the engine. I have a draft of what I was going to build, but I'm not sure if I want to go this complicated.

These dimensions will definitely help me fix my model.

My original plan.....not sure if I'll still do it like this or not.

Double checked the print, and 23mm is the call out. Is it possible Cummins had a proprietary block for Case? Check the mounts you have to see if they match up.

Duh. I had 297mm as the dim between both bottom holes, not a bottom and the top on the right. Now it does look like the wrong pattern. That put the angle between top and bottom hole center line and vertical at 29.9 deg. That is way too much. The angle on my holes is around 14 deg. I'll cut out the corrected pattern and hold it up and take a picture tonight. I got to pulling fence last night and welding up some junk for work and got to bed about 11:30. I should have some time tonight.
