Sweet setup... :thumbsup: I have one of the golf cart tops too but I don't have the clearance to install it since I have < 1" space when I drive through my barn door. Let us know how the canopy works out... ;)

Thanks everyone for the congratulations. Yes, the fun...er, work will commence soon with this wonderful new toy...er, tool.

The model # of the bucket is L2239. Not sure which tractor it's original equipment on, and it's not listed as an option for the L3200. The only option on Kubota's site is the regular 66" SSQA bucket. Since my soil is so often wet, I figured my chances of the bucket self cleaning were better with the round back. It also came pre-drilled for the bolt on cutting edge, which I got. My salesman knew that it fit, so he substituted it.

My storage is 1" shy of allowing me to go in with the ROPS up, so I'm going to have to go through the whole taking it down & putting it back up when using process. I may rearrange the lanyard that holds the ROPS bolts, so I can turn them easier. With them new and tight, it was a huge pain to lower the ROPS. With that, I'm also going to have to contemplate some sort of quick release for the golf cart roof sun/rain canopy.

Now that I have the tractor, I guess I need a shop. 'Tis a slippery slope! :D

When I Had the L3400 I had to lower the ROPS each time. I kept the bolts well lubed with Fluid Film and also you can make them turn easier by "unloading" the stress on them by pushing forward or backward on the upper portion of the ROPS with one hand while turning the bolt with the other.. This will allow them to turn very easily.

.... 'Tis a slippery slope! :D
Grapple, rear hydraulics for TnT, implement after implement... the list is very long and expensive!!! :laughing:

Looking forward to see what you come up with for the quick release for the golf cart roof. ;)

I also have to lower my ROPS to get in the garage with the tractor. Luckily, I haven't forgotten yet. Sometimes, and don't let on to the safety police on here, I also sometimes use the tractor with the ROPS down.. but I DON"T advocate that position for anyone. I DO make sure it's up when I need it.

There will be no end to things you need now that you have the tractor, but that's all part of the fun!

Enjoy the journey!!

herefromthere;
I don't keep my Mahindra in the garage but when I want to work on it and it is cold, it just fits in the garage with the ROPS up. I also have a golf cart top on mine. I used a 1/4 by 6 flat stock the width of the ROPS and welded 1" square tube to it. The tube goes from front to back and is mounted to the original mounting points of top. I used square u bolts to mount to the ROPS, using rubber spacers between. Ialso welded the 45 degree pieses on for support. Moving down a road, it tends to bounce some but I just hold on to one of the hand holds and it is ok. For some reason I am too dumb with posting pix, sorry.

If you can find the photos on your computer, we can teach you the rest. There is a paperclip (next to the white smiley face) on the Post Reply screen, click on that. If you don't have that, just scroll down below the "Submit Reply" and "Preview Post" down to the "Additional Options" and look for Attach Files and the "Manage Attachment" button. That opens another window - hit browse and find the photo / file. Don't forget to hit "Upload" button when you load a few files. IF you need more help, just ask ;) If you have over sized photos, you might have to reduce them, let us know.

What a nice rig! I'm currently favoring an L3200, having just bought a trailer to move it around. The dealer in Cookeville TN has this tractor for 18.5K list. Do you guys know how flexible Kubota dealers are on the list price for a cash deal? How much was the upgraded bucket? And how much does the BH77 cost? I never considered one, but they sure look nice. :thumbsup:
