Still having problem with the curl. Now it seems even weaker, particularly when I try to pick up something at the end of the teeth. The bucket of firewood pic curled slowly, but did curl, likely because the weight was "in close". Almost feels like one cylinder isn't working. The tractor is going into the shop next week and I'll get the pressure checked, as suggested. Several people have told me the curl should be the most powerful part, but it sure isn't on my tractor. I can pick things straight up, say grabbing it with the grapple, but it won't curl, even when cranked out to 2500 rpm. Lot of storm damage cleaned up, and I've made myself a nice pile to work on the next month. Our township doesn't allow burn piles, which sucks, so I guess I have to push the unwanted mess somewhere where it will be seen the least. I grew up with burn piles but now apparently the smell of leaves and wood burning is considered "noxious" or whatever.
Boy did I do a number on my trailer. The front wheels of the Kubota are hidden by the loader, and several times I nudged the tail lights. Doesn't take much to make lots of little pretty red plastic on the ground...might see if I can get a light with a frame around it. No sense putting nice LED replacements in if I just crunch them again as I clearly have a ways to go on the learning curve. Just a little further....crack.
Have one more hundred foot tree to work on, but it fell into the field, and not on the road, as the others did, so I'm going to take my time with it. The barn has a large wood room and looks like I'll have it filled by the time I'm done. There's something about looking at those big piles of wood that is very satisfying.
