New snow

Holy crap Batman. Went to the seniors center for supper in the village, snow blowing across the road pretty good when we left. Cleaned the lane to the highway this afternoon. Coming back at 8:30 pm, drifts made it pretty interesting getting back to the house. By morning the road will be totally blocked about half the distance. Have a good section of bush for part of the way. On the upside, temps will be a tad warmer. Only -15 now, windchill factor -25.
-31C with a -37 windchill in Ottawa area last night but it warmed up to -23C when I got up at 4am LOL

The weather here has gotten boring. Highs upper 20s to 31, lows in the high teens, wash, rinse, repeat for as far as the forecast extends.

That's what is nice about working from home. It's 8:07am and I'm contemplating getting up now to start my work day

Rest day for the tractor, no new or displaced snow.

We are getting some today here in northern MIchigan. Planning on going out in the morning to clear the drive. Only about 4 to 5 inches worth. Jon

WOOHOO If you're referring to the very hard drift I lifted the front end of the tractor on, many on here don't get that type of drifting. Northern states like the Dakotas, Montana get it for sure. I remember driving in Wyoming, seeing massive snow fence structures near the railroad tracks.

Newfoundland Canada in my opinion has had some of the worst snow storms in the world.
A quick google search will show thousands of pics like this.
I try to think of this when I am dealing with "the worst" storms in my area. Sometimes makes me feel a tiny bit better in
a "could be worse" kind of way.

That pic of the Matchbox sized truck dwarfed in its snow grave makes me embrace our current 10 inch "light dusting"!

Life is too short to endure that volume of whiteness. Average of 2 days per year - without snow!

I thought I'd see some pics like that from the "BOMB CYCLONE" going on now. So far we haven't got a flake - but I'm ready.

Probably shouldn't make fun of the weather hype - someday I will pay.
