I had thought about cutting the inside edge of the fender and attaching a rubber sheet type material to keep the rain and rocks out.
There is very little room between the inside of the tire and the inside of the fender well. But I will check to see exactly what the dimension is. If I remember right its about 1/2" now.
Heres a thought do they make a rim that is like a deep dish that would push the tire out 1"?

Most trailer wheels I've seen have no offset. A one inch negative offset would move the tire one inch outwards.

As cj7 mentioned often the spacing on the rear tires of a tractor can be adjusted somewhat for width. If you are not at the minimum now perhaps you could narrow the spacing a bit. That might be the easiest thing. Would not do it if you need the width for hills etc.

All great thoughts. I have 2 emails going to wheel vendors to see about ofsetting the tires on the trailer.
Does anyone know if reversing the tractor tires would only bring them in about 1" +- each side or is it a huge amount?

Yeah I have hauled my tractor on my neighbors trailer a few times and my tire bulges have to squeeze between the fender wells, which they do no problem. Just got to make sure there are no jagged edges!
A little soap does wonders...

This will sound really dumb. I purchased my 1st tractor last December, I bought a trailer at the same time but since the tractor was delivered by the tractor company I have not used my trailer as of yet. I am currently getting chains etc.. for future move.

When I bought the trailer i asked the tractor people what the width of the tractor was and they said 77" So the trailer is 83.625 between wheel wells, however after I got the tractor i found out that it is actually 84" outside to outside. the Trailer is a 14k tilt bed 22' long. THe fenders have 2 bolts holding them on so unbolting for loading should not be too big a problem.

I will have to load the tractor with the back on first as to get the back tires in front of the fenders. This means the rear axel will be about 4' in front of the trailer center between the to axles. What do you all think about this? I cant seem to come up with any other solution. I had thought about wheel spacers but got a lot of negative feedback on that idea.
Any thoughts? Do I need to trade this trailer in taking a loss I am sure and get a trailer with the wheels under the bed? ugh :-( Regards, Joe
I had the same problem with being 82+ inches between the fenders so I built a ramp that goes over the fenders with treated lumber. I can remove it when I don't need the width using a set of forks. the tractor sits a little higher when on top of the fenders but not much higher than a deck-over.
