In the US, the 25 series was very short lived. It was supposed to be an upgraded version of the old 20 series. It came with a bigger cab, A/C was standard, came with 2 rear remotes, and came with extendable and adjustable lower link arms on both left and right sides of the 3 pt. I think there were a couple other improvements, but don't recall them now off the top of my head.
It also came with a bigger price tag than the old 20 series. It would have been up to the selling dealers to point out the feature differences and upgrades between the 2 models. Many smaller dealers were "poorly trained" (trying to be nice here) in model features and general model knowledge.
Then, for some reason, Branson went ahead and put that larger (25 series) cab on the standard production 20 series.
Then, they parked them side-by-side on dealer lots, with near identical appearances, and the 25 series having the bigger price tag. Customers bought the 20 series (not surprisingly), due to similar appearances and cheaper costs.
Then Branson stopped importing the 25 series into the US, due to lagging sales...
I think that's "The Story", in a nutshell, as relayed to me by my former dealer. The 25 series was built on the same frame as the 20 series, just came with a few "upgrades" (originally) from the 20 series, kind of like a JD "R" model tractor vs. an "E" model tractor.
The 6225 was never imported into the US (that I know of).
I'm very happy with my 25 series Branson, it's a good unit. No regrets after 7+ years.
