New utility tractor (100hp range)

Yep, that's what the dealer map showed, but that's in Georgia about 160 miles from me and a whole nother issue with taxes being out of state, I would need a dealer in Florida but with that being said with the OP mentioning that the Fendt tractor was around $200k , that rules me out, there are dollar bill farmers and nickel and dime farmers, I fall into the nickel and dime category, as a matter of fact my next tractor will more than likely be used if I can find the right one.
That makes 2 of us. My 3 farm tractors altogether might be worth 200K.
My smallest tractor new would be $200,000. My largest new would be $375,000.
And that’s not Fendt. Thats like Massey or New Holland.

I’m looking at a used 175HP for $70,000 with 7,000 hours on it! Thats the best deal I can find! There’s no inventory, so drives prices up even higher.

I don't recall seeing any used Fendts for sale in the US, which I take as a good sign for the product. There are a number in Europe, but buying and importing a tractor from Europe would not be my first choice.
Have you tried Agriteer? They bring in about 50 million worth of Fendts a year.

I've seen used ones over here, but never a 200.

Not yet. I need to get a manual to see how the thing really works and what it can do. If that's good, then I'll go try one. If that's good, then I'll start figuring out if/how I can buy one. It's unlikely I would spend the $200k list price for a new one, so it would have to be heavily discounted, or used. The flip side of this is that my current small utility tractor (Kubota L5740) does what I need, just slowly. So I can just keep using it if I don't find something that is clearly better from a function, performance, and cost perspective.

Did you look at the CVT tractors in post #28?
I can’t tell if they’re true CVT’s or just a hydrostatic

The Fendts are very nice premium tractors.
How ever the CIH Maxxum (starting at 115 hp) series is available with the CVX transmission which is their name for a CVT,
as is the Vestrum series (starting at 100 hp)

Not those specific ads. But it did prompt me to look at NH. And to re-check case.

The smallest CVT model is the T5-130 which is way too big. The boomer and smaller machines were manuals or HST.

For case the smallest is in their Maximum (or some name like that) line, and again is just too big.

Would a larger hydrostatic work for you?

I’ll go check case again, just to be sure. My Kubota dealer is also a case dealer, so they would be a viable choice.
