We work in industrial plants and if the item your working on is low there may not be a place to tie off except at the roof. I would rather bounce from 6' than 26' while getting tied off.

First, thank you for reminding me about the cartopper backhoes. I just happened to see one in town recently. So, what's a machinery nut to do but race home and grab up a camera? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I managed to get some decent close ups of the custom bits. I couldn't get really close as it was on top of a rail car at the time and I didn't want to trespass. Turns out I had some good timing as it was gone later that evening. I told a friend about it and it was gone when he went looking.

Thanks for the extra photos. This is a truely astonishing machine. I find I really like machines that are purpose built. It gives them an extra charisma that generic machines just don't get.

Funy enough.. I've seen more people hurt simple falling down from a standing position.. than from falling 10' .. go figure. A friends husband fell in his kitchen and broke his leg.. the big bone too.. how about that for unlucky...

That doesn't really sound hard to do but doing faster than the other guy would be a challenge.

Thats an easy task here the Former Deere equipment dealer would take a new Deere hoe and weld a spoon on a tooth and youd have to take them off sand castles and put them on cones. I still have m toy backhoe for second place. dad spent his 100 dollar bill for first lol.
On the lowering the cranes at the same time when 2 crane operators work together its beautiful when one is out of sink with the other its hell on earth lol usually 2 operators can judge the speeds a feel of the load when working together.
