NH 7308 Loader Owners

I adjusted my pressure up today and turned it in 1/2 turn, the loader works much better now. I hated that it didn't have any down pressure for pushing posts into the ground. The tweeking did great and I wouldn't have known about it, if it wasn't for this thread. I read through the whole thing. I didn't use a gauge, but it was sure nice of Spencer
to have made one and let everyone out there use it. I hope you get it back. Thanks for the information.

I adjusted my TC30 today without the guage. I started by trying to lift the wheels with the bucket curled and down pressure. Only lifted about 1". I adjusted the set screw 1/4 turn until I was able to lift the tires. About two adjustments and the wheels where at least 4" off the ground with no problem. Thanks everyone on this thread for all the great and useful information.

I also read this post and turned the set screw 1/4 turn. The loader will now lift the front wheels off the ground. Thanks for the information.

Even though you have not posted since June....Did you ever send the gauge to the next person in line? I ask because the gauge has not been sent back to Spencer either.

I didn't realize the gauge was still missing. After Spencer's generosity that just plain sucks. It looks like Blue29toy had it last. I don't know if he sent it on. Here's the order...

It looks like Rut is the last one who posts very often (the others may not log on anymore). Since RuT has a name and address for davcon he should be able to look up a phone number for davcon. We could work through the list and hopefully get the gauge back to Spencer.

I agree with your sentiments. The sharing of Spencers gauge used to be one of my favorite examples of generosity and honesty. I hope this has a positive ending. Anyway, looking back thru the posts, it looks like Blue29toy sent the gauge to Pwiethe. Maybe Blue29toy can chime in.

It would be nice if Blue29Toy would chime in, but based on how often he posts that might be never. I don't want to invade anyone's privacy here, but I think it's worth a polite phone call or two to get to the bottom of this. If you don't want to try contacting zexel, I don't mind doing so, just send me a PM with his info.

Well, after checking zexel has an unlisted phone number. If he, Blue29Toy, or Pwiethe don't come forward with a name and address, I don't know what else I can do.

Should we take up a collection for Spencer to buy another gauge setup?

Blutoy has not made a post since last june of 2004. There is not an email address in his profile either. If anyone knows of how to get a hold of this guy please speak up. Otherwise I would be for throwing in some bucks for Spencer. You can't meet a nicer guy. I used the gauge and am willing to help out.

Of course then Spencer hasn't been around for some time, but I do have his cell phone number.

Hi everybody. Having sent the gauge to Bluetoy, I don`t know what I can do to help find it. I have been unable to find his address, and I no longer have his email address either. I also would be willing to contribute to repay Spencer for his gauge. It sucks that Spencers generosity is being repaid by someone keeping the gauge! I will search some more for anything I might have with Bluetoy`s address on it.
