I don't think I did too bad. It's a purox w201 torch handle, with cutting attachment, 6 welding tips, and 9 cutting tips.
I also got a set of purox regulators, and a spare liquid air acetylene regulator. Also included were 4 airco tips, and 3 NOS Harris calorific cutting tips.

The welding tips range from #2 to #30, and the cutting tips are from #2 to #9 (purox numbers are very different from others....)
I am going to have the regulators rebuilt, seeing as the oxygen regulator has a spider stuck in the inlet, and they haven't been used in years.
Finally, does anyone know where I can get replacement Orings for purox welding tips? Some of them are starting to fall apart.
Ok, here are some pictures.

Oh, I forgot to mention, I got the whole lot for $175!
Sure beats spending that on a chinese victor clone..... LOL

I use that same AL regulator. Its a solid unit.

One thing though, parts are getting scarce. My Oxygen reg blew up and AL couldnt get a rebuild kit, and even if they could it would have ended up costing very close to what a new low end AL reg would have cost (around $100 IIRC), plus it would only have 30 days warranty, so I just bought a new one that came with a 1yr? warranty for the same cost.

Good score for $175 though.

I think that air liquide reg is fine, it's the two purox units I am thinking of having rebuilt.
I am thinking of running the two purox regulators, and possibly using the AL regulator for a prestolite/turbo torch.

I am sure I can get parts for the purox regulator.

Next I will be trying to find a prestolite handle, and an mc tank. I hate those bernzomatic plumbing torches.......

Those R205 and R206 Regs are obsolete..Sorry. Very good regs in thier day though. Not sure you will be able to have them re-built. o-rings for the purox tips are 14K05 and 14K06 look them up on e-bay..If you can rebuild the regs, they would cost more than new ones. cutting tips are 16K10 for a medium sized cutting tip for acetylene. 16K16 I believe for propane. ( if my memory is still there from my distributor days) good luck.

I saw that regulator and torch exchange will do a rebuild for them for $54, or sell the kit for $26.
It seems the kits are still available.
I have to say that I really prefer older equipment, and I really love the look of the old purox regulators. I saw that even chinese regulators are about $75 here, so I feel these are worth rebuilding.
I know where I can get them done if air liquide can't.

If you can get the kits, They are easy to re-build..I too would rather have the 205 and 206 instead of the chinese ones..

I think I will go that way. I have almost finished rebuilding my old Harris straight torch, these could be my next project.

Only issue is that they won't ship to Canada. I might know a person or two who could have it shipped to them, then ship it to me.
Time to send some PMs.

I'm going to call up efco torch and regulator rebuilding this morning. If anyone in Canada can do it, they can.
I have a ton of tips to clean this morning, but I am hoping to try out the new purox torch with the air liquide regulators this afternoon.
Any tips on removing a broken off tip cleaner from a cutting tip? Or cleaning out totally plugged holes? About half the tips are ready to use, the rest are either plugged with spatter, and one has a tip cleaner stuck in it.
I wonder how a machinists tool cabinet would work for storing torches and tips? I have a nice 7 drawer Kennedy sitting on a shelf in my shop, with nothing in it....
