Well guys as much as I wanted a PT 4xx, I just couldn't get my wife to think outside the box. She couldn't get past the articulation and the mower out front (like it should be) and a brand that she never saw or heard of. Since she's the one mowing the grass I had to compromise with her.

Then in the paper this weekend I came a across a used Kubota at a great price that I couldn't pass up. I'm know the owner a 130 hour old BX2200 w/ 60" MM deck. I have to say those diesels sure are nice and quiet. When looking around I thought the Agco/Massey Ferguson was the quietest & smoothest but the Kubota is pretty nice too. I'll probably still hang out here once and while because you guy's are so entertaining. Now I just have to get a loader and I'll be all set. Because I sold my Ingersoll in March we haven't mowed yet. The grass is above the knee and waste high in some areas. Time to mow!!!!

Glad you got a tractor that fits your needs, and your family's requirements. The BX is a fine, fine machine and you will get years of dependable use out of it. You really can't go wrong with a Kubota, Deere or NH as long as you have a good dealer/service center. Stop by anytime over here. I'm sure I've made some comments in the Kubota area from time to time /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
