Looks good Gordon! I'm planning to do the exact same thing to tote along my new Splitter. I might need to steel your idea.

That's a great idea with the hitch on the back for the splitter, gonna need to look into doing that!

Here is my Agro Trend, which is now Art's Way. Great little trailer that originally came so it could be hooked to tractor hydraulics but I converted to a power pack so I could use it behind the gator. These little trailers are so handy and great in the bush!

I've almost bought the Woodland Mills Woodland trailer a couple of times. Any of these trailers is a great match for an ATV or subcompact. They will also work well behind a compact tractor. What has stopped me is that I would really like something with a payload capacity of 3000 to 4000#. It would be a better match for what I need to do, and for the pulling capacity of my tractor. Finding one with that capacity that is also street-legal (or could be made to be so) would be ideal. I'm still digging up options for that.

Have you ever found an on / off road trailer? I'm looking for something I can hook to my truck and go get a load of compost then connect it to my L3800 (without rear remotes) to dump / spread the compost over 3' wide raised beds in the garden.

I ordered the Berkelman 2 ton model. Should have it soon. I'll post pictures once I get it.

I'm hoping to use the Massey 1758 tractor grapple to load the trailer, either with rounds or brush/slash. The trailer will then be towed/dumped by my Massey GC1710. Since the 1710 is only a SCUT, I think I will have to watch how much weight I put in the trailer-- but at first it will be used mostly on a flat level road so I'm expecting it to work OK.

Hello, Good thread.

I have a MUTS trailer from Canada. Excellent trailer.

Here's a video where I'm talking about it. Check out my other videos on assembling it, etc on my channel.

If you buy one from MUTS - Multi-Use Trailer System for your ATV, Quad and 4 Wheeler please mention my ProjectKing name to them. It helps my channel.

Let me know if you have any questions. (0:

Ultimate ATV Trailer, MUTS! Pt1 Intro - YouTube

Hey ProjectKing.......you don't happen to know the height of the tongue when the MUTS is level, do you? I'm looking to get a draw bar for my UTV and I'm trying to figure out what I'll need for drop/rise. BTW.....I've watched your YouTube videos...very helpful, thanks. Anything new to add regarding your experience with this trailer? I'm hoping to get one soon.

Hello, I will measure it later today and post it. The trailer is excellent. It's perfect match of strength and lightweight. I really like it. I have a new L3301 that I have been using to load it with dirt. Trailer does great with a full load of dirt and floats over soft ground with the big tires.

You can see in the pics the trailer is a good size. It will hold a lot of dirt. Yet it is small enough to fit down ATV trails, etc. The front bucket on the L3301 is 60" wide for reference.

Hello, top of ball needs to be around 17 3/4" high to make trailer level. Let me know if you have more questions. If you order a trailer please mention my ProjectKing channel name.

I took Gordon's idea and welded up a trailer hitch on my box blade, mostly to tow a wood splitter, but I'm wondering about the dump trailer?
Do you think that there is cause for concern regarding tongue weight of a loaded dump trailer with the trailer ball mounted so far back?

Since these photos, I've added an 8" drop hitch to get the ball lower.
