I have an old cultipacker that I'm looking for parts. I can't find a name on it anywhere. Originally it had 3 sections, 1-7ft section with 2-3ft wings. It still has a little red paint on it. The end caps that hold the bearings have a part # on them. Top cap reads M25U and bottom reads M26L. Can anyone tell me what brand this is so I can get parts. Thanks

My guess would be Brillion. They were pretty popular and we had one that pulled two shorter ones like that.

Brillion part numbers were always four digits from years gone by. I can't recognize the frame struture by a manufacturer but they are not brillions.

I have seen these at farm auctions all over Kansas and Oklahoma so that model has made it around this area... never paid attention to the manufacturer. KennyV.

What sort or parts are you needing? Perhaps you won't need to know the manufacturer for certain parts. I've looked in the past for old cultipacker parts and had very little luck.

I'm looking for the bearings or bushings, pin and collar that goes under the caps on the ends.

Do you know what type of bearings? A lot of old cultipackers use wooden bushing. They were made of wood so the farmer could easily replace when needed. If it uses regular bearings, you could probably find a match locally. For the other things, you may just have to get creative.

they seem to be wooden. I have it back together now, we'll see how it works:D

I agree with Art. Brillions have a large cast end piece that holds the bearing and axle. If I remember correctly it would actually say Brillion on it too.

I just picked up a cultipacker that has the same frame and end caps. I talked to the previous owner who was in his late 80s who said that it was once a red and green Brillion and he pulled it when he was a teenager. I am wanting to restore it like original and I was curious what you found when you tore into the bearing housing. Were they wood or steel rollers? Did you purchase or make new ones?

If it has the octagon wood bearings, we may have them? The measurements and picture in the link below. Ken Sweet

$40 plus shipping for one side seems pretty high. I think Ill get the the drill press and table saw and make a few myself.
