Ouch! 19 hours on 3320 that was "ordered"?

Steve_in_SEMich isnt the OP, I suspect that his 1026R came with (or has) that many hours on the meters.

Here's the op/post #1...

I was informed 3 weeks ago when I signed the purchase order that Deere would provide a build date within a week of when the order was submitted. Took delivery today, 19.1 hours on the meter, most of the black plastic in the operator's station has some fading, not sure if I can find a build date on the machine.

Call into the sales guy, he's checking with the dealer rep who submits all of their orders. I was thinking between 1-3 hours for testing, quality review, misc. would be reasonable.

How far off was my expectation of receiving a NEW unit?

19.1 hrs on the meter. With a digital dash, that must mean 19.1 hrs with the key on.

13.x hours of the engine actually running.

And I forget what the PTO hours were.

Not a simple cable driven tach/hourmeter that only has 1 reading...

I'm leery of any demo machinery,I've seen several demo machines with the hour meter disconnected.My first experience was with a hustler super z demo over 10 years ago....so now what I do is check the hours when I get on a demo and again wheni I get done..if the dealer has disconnected it I will not buy anything from them....

My Godfather special ordered a new corvette and it had almost 300 miles on it.
