I can now say I am the owner of a BX2200. Bought it yesterday, didn't take it home because I needed to do some things around the house, and weather sucks! Got the 60"MMM, FEL, loaded tires. Turfs.

Thanks all who answered my many questions, there will be more!

Like, is a Gill pulverizer 61" two roller, the same thing as a Harley rake? Can it pull the Gill? The dealer told me if I bought I could use a larger tractor to put in my lawn if needed. That may be a way of making me want more, and trading up!

I bought from SMC in New Franken, WI. Tim was the salesman. He was good and knew all the specs without looking them up. I can tell service will be no problem.

Thanks again,

PS how well do landscape rakes work to put in lawns, removing stones and weeds. The lot is freshly plowed, disced and spring raked so there is no vegetation or sod etc. Just a few rocks here and there and weed trash.

I doubt that the 60" will work well with the BX. I have a Gill 48" single roller, and it's a tough pull in clay. I take several passes, going deeper each time. BTW, I'm finished with it now that I have my yard seeded and am going to sell it....think I can get $400?

Landscape rakes work well for raking sticks and other garbage over 2 inches or so.

Lesson Learned about Landscape rakes:
A close friend had a lot of top soil brought in and had someone "rough" smooth it out with a bobcat. The dirt had a lot of sticks and some other junk in it. He asked if I could smooth it out better and/or help get rid of some of the junk. I told I that I could use my landscape rake to rake up the garbage & sticks but I didn't have the needed pulverizer or tiller to smooth out the dirt. It took about 20 passes back and forth across all of the dirt area, but the landscape rake did an excellent job of both removing the debris and smoothing out the soil. I was really amazed.

Congrats on your new BX2200/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gifand I hope todays weather is better so you can go and bring her Home.

A landscape rake shall save you a lot of work for sure, and I found out if you set the rake about 1 or 2 inches into the soil it fluff real nice.

Enjoy and take care.
