Another very cool morning. 47F and no smoke. Definitely a "better feeling" with the RH @ 48%.

It's currently 77 here with 95% RH.

Had 1.5" of rain yesterday--All in less than an hour. My driveway looked like a river, again. And the electric cut off for a few seconds. Just long enough to clear the digital clocks and appliances.

Here's a screen grab of my weather station data. Note the "Feels Like" temperature.

It just isn't fair - Tinhack. In the last month and a half - 0.17" of rain here. However - it IS definitely cool. As we approach sunrise - 44F.

Just over 6.5" of rain in the past 31 days. That's as far back as the software tracks. I'm having a hard time keeping up with the grass, driveway and tractor fixes. This has been an unusually wet year after the historic freeze we had in February. 44F would be a typical winter morning down here. The world is upside down, I tell ya. o_O

I'm a bit further north (maybe 4 hours) and I am not going to complain. The mercury has barely hit 100 this year so far and school is about to start. I'll take that any day. The nice thing about cold here in Texas is that it is rare and never lasts long. Most of my summers here we have gone weeks without getting BELOW 80. It is also a bit drier up here compared to your area of Texas. It has still been a wet year, but nothing like y'all's weather.

I don't have AC here. I have two large fans. Open a window on each end of the house and let them rip. Last week I was fighting just to keep the house cool. The night temps just barely got low enough to drag the inside down cool enough.

Yesterday and today - I had to shut the fans down early. It's 44F outside @ 5:45 - - inside the house ...... 63F.

At these temperatures, even I have a jacket on. It's hard to believe but, middle of the summer, our night time temps are only twelve degrees above FREEZING.

This is just crazy.

I love crisp cold. As long as it is above 0, I am good. Extreme temps are not so good for the equipment.
Around here, the AC runs almost 24/7 from June through September. Today's forecast 78 low 94 high. For here, that is seasonably cool. Humidity is about 80, which is high for this area.

I had a brisk 40F this morning in NW Montana outside Glacier Park. I look forward to winter.

It is crazy, but it sure makes for good sleeping with nights being cool.
