Alright. I found a place that can give me treated 30 footers (20 of them) at around $200/each. I found another electrical company that would install for less than $1000.

Of course, I do any of this until the ground drys out, probably may or June. So it's still gonna be expensive, just maybe not as expensive as I thought.

Wooohooo!

I found a source for used poles, $50 each. This dream may very well become a reality.

I also just purchased a harley rake for field maintenance. Well, and I want to put in a new lawn this Spring.

WOW, that's a fantastic price. I'd buy everyone of them you can, even if it's twice as many as you think you need. You might even think about a pole barn if you get enough of them.

Good for you Investor guy. See early planning comes through. Instead of being under pressure to build now, by taking your time and planning, you have the time to find good deals.

I enjoy this topic and hope you will include all of us at TBN as you proceed. It is fun to watch ideas, the thought process and then hopefully the finished product. A Paintball field, why not? Sounds good to me. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Oh, I will most definitely keep y'all in the loop. I put up some pics of the Harley Rake once I get that rolling too.

What's a good time of year to rip up old sod and plant new grass? As soon as it dries I guess.

Here are the poles I got. 25 so far; I think I'll get 12 more or so to really make it strong.

Here's the Harley Rake. Around it you can see the trench my front tires dug setting it down. Too much water + too much weight on the loader = having to pull my tractor out of the mud w/ my truck. Not fun.

May have to wait a couple months to try out the rake.

Alright, more progress... and pictures!

almost done w/ the "air barn". This will be where people check in, pick up rental guns, and get air fills.

It's a 10x12 little shed. I put it on 3 skids so I can move it around my property if I need too. I made a barn style roof so I could have a loft area and more storage. These pictures show us putting up the end tresses. We made a little contraption so we could sheet them, THEN put them up. Much easier.

Currently, my tractor is stuck up to its axle in the mud out in my field. Once it dries up a bit more I'll go out there and drive it out.

Anyway, here are the pics. I'm painting it red and will post it up when I'm done.
