Has anyone here discovered a way to increase the curl of self leveling buckets. I had my forks bent back to increase angle so logs will roll back and I can load on down hill slopes. This a.m. one bent back just ahead of the gusset. There has to ba simpler solution and I know someone here has the answer .DK 55 ,1595 self adjusting loader.

You must have some serious down hill slopes!!

I have used my pallet forks to pick up cars and trucks at my brothers car lot /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I picked up a S10 and Geo Metro up and over other vehicles to move them /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

I do not know how you are going to increase the angle without a longer cylinder /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

What forks are you using ? Mine are Woods . Have you tried to pick up anything that is round like a pipe or log as opposed to a car or flatter object?

Gmol,

I'll have to look at them to see what brand. I purchased them on ebay brand new from a guy that sells quite a few of them from Syracuse NY.

I haven't really picked up anything round. Picked up a tree, but it was to big. Had to move it one end at a time /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I have been very happy with my pallet forks. They are 48" long, fully adjustable, and under $600 to my place.

Thanks for the reply. Let me know the brand, dealer etc. In the mean time try to grab onto some pipe and let me know how it goes. I have a lighter pair of forks that I bent yesterday for the second time. They are handy as heck working on my log landing but these are not heavy duty enough . Saw some very trick forks that are hydraulically adjustable. Thanks, G
